Questions brands ask

Straight answers on sources, terms, geos, compliance and getting started.

Who is Raccoon Rockets, and do you run the traffic yourselves?
Raccoon Rockets is a commercial partner. We connect brands and affiliate networks with specialist traffic partners. We do not own or control the technology or traffic assets behind each source. We handle terms, onboarding and performance optimisation.
Which traffic sources do you offer?
See our Traffic sources page for the full, current list. It grows as we validate new sources.
Do you work with affiliate networks as well as brands directly?
Yes, both. Brands with in-house affiliate programs and networks managing one or many brands are equally valid partners. The same approach applies to both.
How are you paid, and what does it cost us?
We work on a performance basis, with terms that follow the source: CPA, CPI, CPL, CPR, revenue share or hybrid. Retargeting is always revenue share or hybrid. There are no setup fees, retainers or management fees. If it does not deliver, you do not pay.
Which geos can you cover?
Our most established traffic sources are worldwide and cover all Tiers, while coverage for others depends on the source and is agreed per campaign. You can set positive or negative geo lists and control volume. Email and SMS availability can vary between periods.
Is it GDPR compliant, and what about cookies or pixels?
The retargeting technology is server-side and does not use third-party cookies or pixels, and has no access to your player data. Other sources follow the consent and advertising rules of each market, handled by the media partner.
Will it affect our existing affiliates or paid channels?
No. We set up every source to complement your existing channels, not compete with them. Each source has its own safeguards, for example automatic exclusion of affiliate and paid visitors in retargeting, and attribution through clear tracking links under the same rules as your other affiliates.
How long does it take to go live?
It depends on the source. Retargeting scripts are typically ready within one to two business days, with first clicks around 5 to 7 days after the script goes live. In-app campaigns typically launch within a few business days once MMP tracking and terms are agreed.
Our IT team does not allow third-party code. Can we still work together?
For retargeting, a script is required, and a security review usually settles the concern. The partner offers a readable version and an SRI-locked version that cannot be changed after deployment without breaking it. For in-app, email, SMS and social, no code on your website is needed.
